Flights between Shenzhen, a city in South China's Guangdong Province, and Wuhan, capital city of Central China's Hubei Province, have gradually resumed since April 8. Flight ZH9127, operated by Shenzhen Airlines, took off from Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport at 7:55 am on April 8.

It stopped in Wuhan en route to Hohhot, capital city of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It was the first passenger flight from Shenzhen to Wuhan on that day. Wuhan, the former epicenter of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak in China, lifted outbound travel restrictions on April 8 after almost 11 weeks of lockdown to stem the spread of the epidemic.
